Los operadores móviles virtuales en España ¿Habrá posibilidad para ellos en Costa Rica?

Abstract

Con la apertura de las telecomunicaciones en el mundo se vislumbran muchos cambios y nuevas oportunidades en los mercados de telefonía móvil. Se busca por un lado, incentivar la competencia y por otro, como resultado de la rivalidad competitiva, se pretende una disminución de los precios y una mayor penetración de los servicios de telefonía móvil. La figura de los Operadores Móviles Virtuales (OMV) surge como una nueva figura en el mercado de telecomunicaciones móviles capaz de dar mayor dinamismo. Para los Operadores Móviles con Red propia e infraestructura (OMR), los OMV se presentan como una oportunidad y una amenaza a la vez, situación que se trata de analizar en este ensayo.
