Estimación de la Q de Tobin para la economía peruana

Abstract

En este trabajo se estima la Q de Tobin para la economía peruana para el periodo que abarca desde el primer trimestre de 1999 hasta el primer trimestre de 2009, utilizando información desagregada de la base de datos Economática. Se propone una metodología de estimación de la Q de Tobin que resulta de combinaciones de metodologías ya establecidas en la literatura. Los resultados muestran que el cálculo de la Q de Tobin es robusto entre metodologías y que en promedio un incremento de un punto porcentual en el valor de la Q de Tobin incrementa el crecimiento de la inversión en alrededor de 0.08 por ciento.
