Vulnerabilidad del sector externo de México

Abstract

En la primera década de este siglo, el sector externo y, en particular, el comercio exterior han tenido un auge significativo en las relaciones económicas internacionales. México no escapa a esta evolución de la globalización. El presente trabajo lleva a cabo un análisis de las diversas vulnerabilidades del sector externo mexicano. Entre las limitaciones se examinan: la concentración de las exportaciones en Estados Unidos, la pérdida de competitividad de las ventas con el exterior, los efectos desfavorables en la relación de precios de intercambio con el exterior, asociación de la tasa de crecimiento del PIB con las importaciones por los insuficientes encadenamientos internos de la economía y las deficiencias en la satisfacción la demanda interna. Por último, varias recomendaciones en materia comercio exterior se proponen y discuten para enmendar dichas limitaciones.
