Abstract

[eng] This article proposes a convex dynamized general equilibrium model with endogenous growth due to human capital accumulation in an educational public sector. The crucial hypothesis allowing this endogenous growth is the substitutabi-lity between skilled labour and unskilled labour. The simulation results from this model show the positive effect of public spending in education on the long-term GDP growth rate.
