Abstract

[eng] The Quaterly Accounts (1971 base) - Quarterly results are a statistical tool which attempts to satisfy the contradictory need for a rapidly produced description of the overall tendencies of the economy which will be, at the same time, as complete, coherent, and detailed as possible. After a long period of preparation, quaterly accounts which are in conformity with the framework of the 1971 of the national accounts are now available. The latest completed quaterly accounts are again being published regularly, and long series (1963-1978) have been issued.
