Modern indicators of financial performance of the company

Abstract

Nowadays, there is a shift in the field of indicators used to measure business performance. The value criteria for measuring business performance are used more frequently. This trend comes to us especially from countries with developed capital market. The paper focuses on modern methods of financial performance of the company. The article briefly describes the discounted cash flow, market value added and Balanced Scorecard. The aim of the article is focused on the economic added value and the results of the investigations. A detailed research together with the analysis and critical assessment of accessible materials will enable to identify the main objectives in the field of study. Primarily and secondary sources were used within the framework of the selected topic. Then it was necessary to select, classify and update accessible relevant information from the numerous published materials that would provide the basic knowledge of modern indicators of financial performance of the companies.
