Abstract

The object of this article is to study the reception in France of the theses and ideas defended by the economists from Turin University between 1880 and 1939. This study attempts to identify articles and reports written by or on these economists in the two main French journals of economics of the time: the «Journal des Economistes» and the «Revue d’économie politique». The article reveals that three principal topics interested these journals: protectionism, the science of public finance and the relationship between economics and morals
