Abstract

The paper deals with the Attilio Cabiati’s contributions to public ?nance analysis. The subjects considered are: public vs. private involvement in national and local public utilities, especially the railway transport network; public vs. private management in the life insurances sector; personal income tax and corporate income tax coordination; economic and ?nancial problems of great world wars; some comments on the Mazzola and De Viti de Marco works.
