Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como propósito examinar la conexión entre la reputación corporativa y las empresas que se consideran socialmente responsables, utilizando como referencia el Índice S\&P/BMV IPC y el Índice MERCO. Se parte de la premisa de que, al orientar sus esfuerzos hacia la sostenibilidad, una empresa puede alcanzar un mayor desarrollo social y una percepción positiva entre sus grupos de interés. Este estudio emplea el modelo logit para analizar la relación entre las variables de interés en empresas que cotizan en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, abarcando el periodo de 2018 a 2022. Los resultados muestran que hay un impacto directo positivo entre la responsabilidad social corporativa y la reputación corporativa en las empresas bursátiles mexicanas.
