America versus China: The Evolution of the World’s Largest Corporations in the Period 2022-2024

Abstract

The origins of the corporate form can be traced from the Antiquity. The dominance of the corporate capitalist form of organization is indisputable in today’s global economic system. The competition among them is fierce and influences the evolution of any industry. In this respect, there is an increasing strong rivalry between the American and the Chinese corporations for global dominance. The paper aims to analyze the evolution of the world’s ten largest corporations in terms of their revenue in the period 2022-2024. To achieve the purpose of the paper, the author utilized a research methodology based on a qualitative method. The results of the paper show that the American corporations clearly dominated the hierarchy evolution of the world’s ten largest corporations in terms of their revenue in the period 2022-2024. In those consecutive years, Walmart kept his first position in the hierarchy.
