Abstract

This text examines the establishment, development, and significance of the journal Nauchen Pregled as the historical predecessor of the present-day journal Research Papers and as part of the institutional history of the Free University for Political and Economic Sciences in Sofia. It analyses the historical context of the interwar period, the editorial concept, thematic scope, and structural features of the journal. Emphasis is placed on its role as an academic and educational forum that contributed to scholarly debate, public discourse, and the consolidation of the university’s reputation at both national and international levels.
