Abstract

Este artigo analisa os impactos econômicos de uma ampliação do uso de energia solar pelas famílias mineiras através do modelo de Equilíbrio Geral Computável (EGC) denominado Imagem-MG. Em contraste com outros trabalhos que utilizam essa metodologia para analisar questões energéticas, o presente trabalho se propôs a analisar os impactos distributivos da utilização de energia renovável para autoconsumo. Foi utilizado um conjunto de 10 famílias representativas, o que tornou possível comparar as mudanças no padrão de consumo entre diferentes classes de rendimentos. Realizaram-se análises de viabilidade técnica e econômica a fim de determinar as condições para adoção de energia solar, através de dois cenários distintos: adoção de painéis fotovoltaicos para geração distribuída de eletricidade e adoção de sistemas de aquecimento de água residencial. Os resultados mostram que a adoção de painéis fotovoltaicos gera impactos setoriais distintos da adoção de aquecedores solares devido à composição do consumo das famílias que utilizam cada tecnologia.
