La estructura productiva del Partido de General Pueyrredon

Abstract

El trabajo describe la estructura productiva del Partido de General Pueyrredon, a través de su Producto Bruto Geográfico (PBG) con año base 2004. Para estimar el PBG, la Municipalidad del Partido desarrolló un proyecto durante los años 2010-2011, con la intervención de expertos sectorialistas. La metodología para el cálculo sigue las recomendaciones internacionales, aplicándose ajustes a la estimación para incorporar la economía no observada. El PBG del año 2004 asciende a 6036 millones de pesos. El Sector Primario representa el 10%, el Sector Secundario, 26% y el Sector Terciario, 64% del total. Se observan importantes cambios en la estructura productiva con respecto al año base 1993, entre los que se destacan un significativo incremento del Sector Primario, explicado por el desenvolvimiento del Sector Pesquero y el incremento en la participación relativa de la industria metalmecánica y la química. El Sector Terciario está orientado principalmente a la prestación de servicios turísticos, destacándose la actividad comercial.
