The Dependence Of The Russian Economy From The Raw Material Branch And Possible Solutions For This Problem

Abstract

The article examines the preconditions of transition of the Russian economy from a mainly raw material branch orientation and searches for alternative economic sectors which could reduce the share of the raw material branch in the economic system and become new basic industries in Russian economical system. The first part of this article is devolved to the present situation and preparedness of Russian economy to depart from a resource-oriented economy. In addition, in the first part presents two alternative sectors to the raw material branch: military-industrial complex and high-technology production. The second part of article is devoted to a detailed consideration of the military-industrial complex: current state of the industry, the investments features in the sector, the main tasks of development of the industry. The third part is devolved to high-technology industry, in particular, to computer production, nuclear production and nuclear power, GLONASS. The last part of the article is devoted to reviewing of the effectiveness of the proposed solutions, the designation of other possible measures for the developing of non-oil economy and long-range forecast.
