The End of Laissez-Faire, the End of History, and the Structure of Scientific Revolutions

Abstract

Some have claimed that the final and absolute ascent of laissez-faire had arrived by the late 1980s, but financial crises and deep recessions proved that unlikely. Indeed, the author contends that the call for the end of laissez-faire will arise again but will likely be moderately short-lived.
