Abstract

Reality has shown that crime is complex, to which must be used against various and specific ways. Is noted that penalties are not sufficient just to remove objectionable social phenomena. Threatening condition that involves a criminal offense and may be removed by taking a security measure or by joining its main penalty when it generates the mentally ill. In this study, we analyze the safety of a medical nature, ie measures that may be applied by the court and even the prosecutor, where, who committed an offense under the criminal law is a person posing danger to society due to illness or chronic intoxication by alcohol, drugs or similar substances.
