Abstract

The article provides a social analysis of the National Penitentiary Administration statistics concerning crimes against personal safety and sexual offenses committed by aggressors serving time in prisons. For this purpose, the article emphasizes various characteristics of these convicts, in relation to several personal variables, and provides a detailed analysis of the victims’ characteristics.
