Abstract

The article basically examines the division of the Romanian unitary state taking into account constitutional factors such as: unity and indivisibility. The founding legislative reforms complex of national and territorial unity of Romania is mentioned in a temporary sequence. The issue of the national state achievement allowed the formation of a territorial framework, cohesion of the Romanian people by creating the appropriate framework, namely the constitutional-democratic regime. The territorial division in territorial administrative units is limited by state law rules. In this socio-historical paper, the approach focuses on the part of the territorial factor in achieving the internal functions of the state, taking into consideration the internal demands of society and of state territory. The peculiarities of the legal regime are carried out by the state organs, at present administrative autonomy being granted to administratively organized territorial units. Presentation by the comparative method of constitutional regulation of nondivision of the Romanian unitary state with examples from the constitutions of other unitary states such as: Sweden, France and Algeria.
