Abstract

The present essay was developed based on the studies made by the „Alaturi de Voi” Romania Foundation among the social economy structures from Romania and 8 other EU countries, on the project „Alliance for social economy development”, financed by the European Social Fund. We aim at analyzing the main challenges that the Romanian social economy structures are facing, the main obstacles in their development, the trend of the legislation development within the sector and the proposals of the main actors that have developed social economy structures.
