Abstract

We have all realized that ample discussions about ethics and integrity occupy an important place in academia and beyond, as each of us had contact with issues raised by research ethics, either directly through our study or research interests or indirectly through the social behaviors with which we come into contract. All these have the merit of bringing to the public's attention rigorous debates that otherwise might be ignored, most often held in meetings of specialists from various university centers in Romania and sometimes with significant international participation. These topics are addressed in the volume ”Etică şi integritate în educaţie şi cercetare” [Ethics and integrity in education and research], coordinated by Antonio Sandu & Bogdan Popoveniuc, published in 2018 by Tritonic Publishing House.
