In the year 2000, the Mouvement des étudiants pour la réforme de l’enseignement de l’économie proposed a criticism with wide international echo in economical sciences as well as in the teaching of the same. We hereby propose a critical assessment of established positions indicating that in spite of some ambiguity, there is a need for a pluralist teaching to bring about better economists
