Las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en los ERP para la gestión empresarial

Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies have brought about significant changes in all sectors of contemporary society, but particularly in the business domain, promoting the development of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). These technological changes highlight the need to study how technology influences ERPs and to analyze the scientific production in this field of study between 2013 and 2023. The study utilized two of the most impactful databases in the scientific community, Scopus and Web of Science, to provide a descriptive and analytical overview of the most developed trends and emerging research lines in the field. Bibliometric techniques were applied to analyze the data, including citation analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, and network analysis. Scientific production in ERPs has experienced steady growth in recent years, with a significant increase in the number of publications and citations. The results of the bibliometric analysis indicate that the most developed research areas are enterprise resource planning, management systems, information technologies, and business performance.
