Abstract

The second issue of a bilingual scientific and policy journal "Modern Economic Studies" published by Kyiv School of Economics (Kyiv, Ukraine). We aim to make "Modern Economic Studies" the leading Ukrainian journal in economic policy and research with regional focus on Eastern Europe. Tymofiy Mylovanov is the Editor of the new journal and Maksym Obrizan and Hanna Vakhitova are the Associate Editors. Our goal is to offer a Western style scientific journal to researchers from Ukraine and neighboring countries which provides thorough editorial procedures, double-blind review process and papers free from plagiarism. The first issue entirely consists of papers by researchers affiliated with Kyiv School of Economics but we will be welcoming submissions from all authors from any institution from the second issue onward.
