Abstract

Fertő Imre bevezető mondatai talán sokak számára meglepetést okoz: azt írja, hogy reményei szerint könyve nem hasonlít a ma divatos álkönyvekre. Ezeknek ugyanis van áruk, címűk, ISBN-számuk, sőt recenziót is írnak róluk, de tartalmilag joggal megkérdőjelezhető könyvstátusuk. Az ilyen kiadványok rendszerint meglehetősen heterogén műfajú és színvonalú írásokat tartalmaznak a tudományos közösség vagy az értelmiség adott köreiben népszerű tagjától, illetve tagjaitól.\" (9. o.) A kiadványt elolvasva joggal állapíthatja meg az opponens, hogy Fertőnek sikerült az álkönyvek csapdáját elkerülnie. Ezt bizonyítja egyfelől a sokszor nem könnyű tudományos tételek élvezetes, logikus kifejtése, másfelől az igen szép számú mű bemutatása, elemzése.
