A gazdaságfejlesztő állam Írországban
[The economy-developing state in Ireland]

Abstract

Az elmúlt tíz évben az Európai Unió tagországai közül Írország GDP-je mutatta a legnagyobb dinamizmust. A nemzetközi szakirodalomban viták tárgya, hogy ebben milyen szerepet játszott az állami gazdaságpolitika. Az előzményekhez tartozik, hogy Írországban a hetvenes és nyolcvanas években a külföldi tőke beáramlására alapozott gazdaságfejlesztés a hazai tulajdonú ipar leépüléséhez vezetett, ami a nyolcvanas évek végén gazdaságpolitikai lépésváltást kényszerített ki. Az állam közvetlen tulajdonosi szerepe nem jelentős, s még a GDP költségvetési újraelosztásának aránya is csökkent. Az infrastruktúrában, a gazdaságfejlesztés finanszírozásában meglevő kiemelkedő szerepe, gazdaságösztönző intézményhálózatai, kisebbségirészvénytőkéje és az indikatív gazdaságtervezés révén az ír állam mégis meghatározó mértékben hat a gazdasági folyamatokra.
