Schweizer Wirtschaft kämpft mit schwierigen Rahmenbedingungen

Abstract

This text summarises the 2019 spring forecast of the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at ETH Zurich, released on 27 March 2019. We first discuss recent economic developments abroad and in Switzerland. We then present the main forecast results across the various sectors of the economy, decomposed into the main demand components of GDP. After this, we present the most important outcomes of our forecasts for the world economy. The final section consists of a comprehensive data appendix.
