Abstract

The specialty studies describe the basic methods of performance assessment, the ones concerning the equation between characters-behaviorsresults and separately it presents a category of other methods that rely mainly on indicators and key evaluation. However, on our opinion, the assessment of management performance in a holistic but criticizable way requires an approach connected to both methods described above. The management performance covers two basic areas of study, namely that of potential assessment as well as the results assessment for the general manager and the management team. The rating of public enterprise management potential distinguishes single features and behaviors for general manager and these focus basically on personality, skills, physical and intellectual capacity and not least on his patterned leadership methods, while the team management is rated by the trust, homogeneity, freedom of expression, consensitiveness and they are unlimited.
