Abstract

This article is a theoretical approach to bridge the current discussion of the role of the nation state in the spatial framework of globalization, with the two scenarios contemporary socioeconomic phenomena widespread. This article is an introduction to the subsequent formulation of the principles of the theory of relativity space-time of the state, with the following results: The first is to recognize the cyclical nature of capitalism in all its breadth, for which are developed from the perspective of the current Marxist-Gramscian and evolutionary concepts or industrial short cycle, long cycle or Kondratiev and historical phase development. A second range is characterized in all its complexity the new phase of capitalist development, with knowledge in its core, its articulation with Toyotism as mode of production and the launch of a new industrial pattern takes shape in the electronics sector, computing and telecommunications.
