Actitudes hacia las matemáticas de los estudiantes de Posgrado en Administración en el IPN: un estudio diagnóstico

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar las actitudes de los alumnos que iniciaban sus estudios de posgrado en administración hacia la asignatura de matemáticas. El estudio fue una investigación no experimental cuantitativa con un alcance exploratorio. Los posgrados seleccionados fueron tres programas de maestría en administración impartidos por el Instituto Politécnico Nacional (ipn) con una muestra de 118 estudiantes. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario con preguntas de tipo Likert. La organización de la información se realizó mediante tablas y gráficas, así como el empleo de la estadística para llevar a cabo el análisis correspondiente. Las principales conclusiones de la investigación fueron que los alumnos de posgrado presentan una actitud negativa hacia las matemáticas y sus experiencias de aprendizaje más desagradables han sido en el nivel de preparatoria y licenciatura/ The objective of this research was to assess the attitudes of students who began their graduate studies in administration to the subject of mathematics. The study was not a cross-sectional experimental. The three were selected graduate programs taught by mba National Polytechnic Institute (ipn with a sample of 118 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert-type questions. The organization of information is performed using tables and graphs, and the use of statistics to carry out the corresponding analysis. The main conclusions of the research were that graduate students have a negative attitude towards mathematics and learning experiences have been unpleasant in high school and undergraduate level.
