"Fit For 55”: Achieving The Eu'S Target In 2030 Towards Climate Neutrality

Abstract

The Communication of EC „Fit for 55” from 14 July 2021 is part of the European Green Deal initiatives and aims to achieve a more ambitious target for 2030, namely to cut emissions by 55% in order to meet the goal of achieving climate neutrality in 2050. It was accompanied by several documents planned for the second and third quarters of the current year. The Communicationenvisages transforming the European economy and societies, ensuring a sustainable transport sector for all, placing the EU at the forefront of the Third Industrial Revolution, ensuring a less polluting energy system, working with nature to protect the planet and health, and promoting action against global climate change.
