Abstract

In this study, we have investigated a Markovian queue system with infinite capacity with a single service station which is unreliable. A vacation has been introduced in which service station takes vacation after some fixed services. In this paper, service station has decreasing service rate because of continuous service and service station takes vacation after each fixed services. To calculate the system performance measures, we figured out the steady state equations and solved these equations using matrix geometric method. Condition on parameters is also defined for which the system is stable. Cost function is constructed and sensitivity analysis is done.
