Abstract

The concept of organisational learning is receiving an increasing amount of attention in the research and practice of management, owing to its potential for affecting organisational outcomes. As such, numerous authors have stressed the need to develop measuring instruments to evaluate the level of learning in an organisation, with a view to facilitate empirical research on the antecedents and effects of learning in organisation. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to deepen understanding of the dimensions that underlie the concept of organisational learning, developing a measuring scale of general use in the Spanish business framework. The psychometric properties of the scale were examined on a sample of 195 Spanish firms using confirmatory factor analysis.
