Abstract

Many studies have discussed the factors that influence student satisfaction in both offline and online learning. However, COVID-19 forced students in Indonesia to transition from offline to online learning. This research aims to reveal the effect of online learning on student satisfaction during this period. The authors examined the findings from university students and literature discussing online learning, and factors that influenced student satisfaction. The results gathered from the quantitative study showed that students that had a high degree of satisfaction in online learning also excelled in academic performance. The importance of the findings of this research and proof of the hypotheses are discussed.
