The development of process innovation and organisational performance in Malaysian healthcare industry

Abstract

Recently, healthcare industry aims to fulfil expectations from customers by providing excellent services to their customer. Organisations should use the improvement method such as innovation in order to meet this requirement. Previous studies concerning innovation in healthcare industry is relatively extensive and varied but it is hard to find the investigation of relationship between process innovation and organisational performance. In relation to that, the purpose of this study is to review structural analysis of process innovation and organisational performance in Malaysian healthcare industries. A conceptual model using structural equation modelling (SEM) has been proposed and will be used to test the relationship between process innovation and organisational performance. Research hypothesis are developed based on the previous study that have been reviewed and also based on proposed research model.
