The popularity of the components is also measured among the nations. Additionally, the study explores the nature of researches conducted on green finance pertaining to the SAARC nations. The results highlight that 'green banking' is the most popular green financial instrument, and 'Green Climate Fund' is the most popular source of funds among the SAARC nations. A green finance scorecard is developed using equal weighted scoring approach. India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan hold the top three positions in green finance scorecard. Ten articles on green finance relating to SAARC nations in 18 different search portals could be found.
