Integrated Assessment of the Level of Industrial Enterprise Development

Abstract

In the article there determined initial values of indices for assessing the enterprise development chosen in view of availability and content of statistical information at the studied enterprises. To obtain a generalized vision of the composition of indices for assessing the enterprise development and determine the priority of their use, the ranking is carried out. In order to describe a comprehensive general nature of the enterprise development, it is proposed to use a multivariate factor analysis, which enables classifying and systematizing the space of the study attributes, revealing the hidden variables and grouping the factors according to their economic content. The application of the factor analysis is explained by the possibility to correctly reduce the number of variables and determine the structural relationship between them. The application of the integral index to assess the level of the enterprise development can not only generalize and analyze qualitative variables but also enables its further using.
