Abstract

Se graduó en Derecho en la Universidad de Tokio en 1980. En la actualidad, es Vicepresidente de la Agencia de Cooperación Internacional del Japón (JICA). Antes de ingresar a la JICA en julio de 2009, desempeño varios cargos en el Servicio Diplomático de su país. Fue Ministro de la Embajada de Japón en Indonesia (de 2004 a 2007), y Director General Adjunto de la Dirección de Cooperación Internacional, Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Japón (2007- 2009). A partir de sus diversos cargos en la Cancillería, cuenta con experiencia y conocimientos profundos y amplios en diplomacia y cooperación internacional. Aspira a aprovechar al máximo estas habilidades para mejorar aún más el desempeño eficaz de JICA como una de las instituciones líderes en desarrollo bilateral en el mundo.
