Abstract

The present work shows the situation that companies classified as Micro keep; as well as: the operation characteristics, knowledge and implementation of social obligations from corporations which were constituted as limited companies due to recommendation or imitation, without having the knowledge of the guidelines and legal obligations, the project was developed with mercantile companies in the metropolitan area in the city of Puebla, Mexico. The present research has an explanatory and evaluative scope, because it explains the characteristics and properties of mercantile companies and assesses the degree of knowledge and implementation of social obligations of corporations classified as micro. The research instrument was designed by applying a survey to 190 companies, which 87of them were micro enterprises. Techniques used: based on the matrix of data, the information was processed by using SPSS and EXCEL software in order to obtain a descriptive summary (media, mean and deviation standard), an analysis of correlation was performed between the dependent variable and the independent variable entities, parametric statistical tests such as the Pearson correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination, were applied to analyze the association between variables in this study and the percentage of the differentiation of a variable as a consequence of the variation of the other respectively to test the general hypothesis applied multivariate analysis technique called Ji² analysis with the SPSS program to achieve a function of the independent variables that can predict or explain the value d and the dependent variable. In the hypothesis test it was determined that mercantile companies do not operate nor are constituted according to the characteristics of its life cycle, therefore the social obligations do not apply, it is recommended to entrepreneurs and investors to become a legal person that analyze, compare and choose the mercantile society that suits their economic and management capabilities
