Abstract

The article is devoted to defining the main directions and mechanism of antirecessionary management in the banking sector. Phases of the crisis in the banking sector and the mechanisms of antirecessionary management are revealed. The analysis of the dynamics of the number of banks in Ukraine is performed. It is found that one of the main reasons for the deployment of the banking crisis is the late reaction of the National Bank of Ukraine to the negative developments in the banking sector at the macro level. The experience of Germany in banking regulation is considered. The necessity of supervision and a decentralized approach to the organization of banking regulation is emphasized, because it is most suitable for early diagnosis of the crisis along with the use of antirecessionary management mechanisms. It is proved that a prerequisite for an effective antirecessionary management of bank operations is the ability of each bank to anticipate and predict complex economic phenomena and to develop measures to overcome them. Attention is paid to the methodological component of the anti-crisis strategy of banks, and it is offered to supplement the system of crisis indicators with the liquidity indicators.
