Lo estético y la calidad de vida: El programa de rehabilitación urbana “Barrios de Verdad”

Abstract

A través del estudio de diez barrios periféricos ubicados en laderas de la ciudad de La Paz (Bolivia) e intervenidos entre los años 2002 y 2018 por el programa “Barrios de Verdad”, este trabajo contribuye al conocimiento y comprensión del impacto de las intervenciones físicas con enfoque estético desarrolladas a través de programas de rehabilitación urbana y mejoramiento barrial de asentamientos informales. Explica cómo las intervenciones urbanísticas centradas en lo estético tienen un impacto relevante en la calidad de vida y ofrece un método de indagación de las condiciones objetivas y subjetivas de la calidad de vida en vínculo con intervenciones urbanas.
