Abstract

El debate sobre el devenir del sistema público de pensiones se ha visto agitado con las incertidumbres planteadas por la crisis financiera iniciada en el año 2007. El objeto de este trabajo es situar dentro de este complejo e incierto contexto los criterios de decisión de los inversores a la hora de formar carteras de inversión que preserven su ahorro a largo plazo y complementen adecuadamente sus percepciones públicas de la Seguridad Social en el momento de la jubilación. Para ello, se muestran los resultados de una investigación fundamentada en encuestas personales a los directores de banca comercial de las principales entidades financieras españolas en relación con los planes de pensiones privados, tratando aspectos como el efecto de su motivación, fiscalidad y política comercial.
