Emotionen und Vernunft - keine Gegensõtze

Abstract

Rationales und emotionales Verhalten werden zu Unrecht als vollstõndige Gegensõtze angesehen. Automatisch entstehende Emotionen dienen vielmehr einer oft vorteilhaften Selbstbindung. Objektiv irrationale Drohungen werden glaubhaft, Versprechungen m³ssen nicht durch kostspielige Vertrõge oder sonstige Ma▀nahmen gest³tzt werden. So gesehen stellen Emotionen "h÷here Vernunft" dar. Die mit starken Emotionen verbundenen Gefahren werden ebenso diskutiert wie die M÷glichkeit der blo▀en Imitation emotionaler Typen.
