Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method for identifying the parameters of the multispecies Lotka-Volterra model based on sampled data. The conditions (nonhyperplanarity, recurrence) under which the “Stripe” algorithm achieves the identification goals are found. The relation between nonhyperplanar recurrent trajectories and the persistent excitation condition for systems of general form is studied.
