Evoluții în protecția consumatorului financiar

Abstract

Protecția consumatorului în domeniul financiar prin intermediul autorităților de supraveghere a devenit o stringență în condițiile implementării unei arii largi de reglementări cu privire la produsele financiare non-bancare la care consumatorul financiar are acces. Modelul aplicat presupune protecția consumatorului prin intervenția în circuitele pieței, fără a le afecta funcțional ci doar pentru a constata fenomene și a îndrepta cantitativ și calitativ nivelul de fair value al pieței. Urmărirea obținerii unei satisfacții din partea consumatorului încă de la nivel de reglementator va duce la o abordare integrată a tuturor instrumentelor, metodelor și responsabililor din acest proces atât de important pentru orice entitate care oferă servicii intangibile. Prezenta lucrare își propune să evidențieze valoarea adăugată adusă protecției consumatorului prin adoptarea unor sisteme de reglementare financiare bazate pe riscuri, proactive și nu doar pe raportări.
