Abstract

The problematic of economic distribution in economics literature from the classical political economy throughout today is discussed in the paper. Mainly the orthodox economics literature is reviewed. Once being the fundamental issue in classical political economics, distribution has been neglected in orthodox economics for a long period. The rising economic inequalities in neoliberal era seem to increased the interest in issue, but the inquiries are mainly on the underlying reasons of rising inequalities and address some specific aspects of the issue, thus does not provide comprehensive theoretical framework.
