Abstract

I processi migratori e il cambiamento demografico sono affrontati spesso distintamente dalle politiche pubbliche. L?invecchiamento della popolazione non ha solamente conseguenze sulla sicurezza sociale e sull?assistenza, ma si associa a un calo della popolazione in et? da lavoro. L?immigrazione ha mitigato questo processo, ma la stabilizzazione degli immigrati (ricongiungimento delle famiglie, seconde generazioni, eccetera) si rifletter? sull?invecchiamento relativo degli stessi stranieri, con conseguenze di policy rilevanti: salute e sicurezza, assistenza, previdenza, politiche attive del lavoro. Tutto questo si colloca in un contesto socio-occupazionale di integrazione dei migranti non pensato per una popolazione che esprime bisogni differenziati anche per et?.
