Abstract

In recent years, in the Italian panorama, many environmental training and educational activities have been aimed at facilitating and accelerating the transition to green economy. About 2000 training activities are offered every year by more than 500 private and public institutions, universities and research institutes. Given the amount of the educational and training investments and the relevance of the issues treated, it seems useful to analyse the characteristics and trends of environmental training, highlighted in the specific compass of basic training, degrees and post-degree, in order to explore critical aspects and potentialities. In this article employment trends data of three-year environmental degrees and master will be discussed. Significant occupational trends emerge, despite the influence of the economic crisis.
