Le cure palliative in provincia di modena: nodi della rete e implicazioni sociali del fine vita

Abstract

In uno scenario di invecchiamento della popolazione e di aumento delle cronicit? emerge con forza la necessit? di considerare il fine vita come parte integrante del percorso clinico della persona: il territorio e i suoi nodi sono chiamati a gestire anche le fasi pi? avanzate delle malattie inguaribili. L?elaborato combina dati demografici ed epidemiologici e descrive i principali nodi della rete delle cure palliative (ospedale, strutture intermedie, assistenza domiciliare). Alle prospettive quantitativodescrittive si affianca un approccio narrativo che restituisce la complessit? e l?umanit? dell?esperienza di cura e l?impatto concreto del modello di rete sulla qualit? di assistenza del fine vita. Il paper propone infine delle suggestioni operative per la governance territoriale e per la partecipazione sociale.
