Abstract

La fabula di una coppia innamorata, e ancor pi? innamorata della propria terra, che investe le proprie risorse per generare un futuro diverso nel proprio comune attraverso la creativit?, l?architettura e l?arte trasformando un perimetro ottocentesco di ruderi e abusivismo, collocato in un centro storico abbandonato nella parte sudoccidentale della Sicilia, nel roboante "sesto posto al mondo come meta turistica culturale" ?, non solo mediaticamente, irresistibile. L?analisi proposta cercher? di sottrarsi al mantra celebrativo a cui ?, giustamente, sottoposto dalla letteratura scientifica e dal carnivoro interesse mediatico, inserendo Farm Cultural Park in un processo che per quanto innervato di contemporaneit? e in-tenzioni prospettiche trova le ragioni culturali del suo successo nell?emporio di Storia, segni e contraddizioni che hanno caratterizzato una regione ossimorica come la Sicilia, posta al centro del mediterraneo e al margine meridionale dell?Occidente.
