Determinantes del salario de reserva de los microempresarios en México

Abstract

En el presente artículo se establece como objetivo analizar los determinantes del salario de reserva en los microempresarios en méxico. Se plantea el salario de reserva como aquel ingreso laboral que esta-rían dispuestos a aceptar los microempresarios para cerrar su negocio y percibir un salario fijo. Se utili-zan los datos de la Encuesta nacional sobre productividad y competitividad de las micro, pequeñas y medianas Empresas y se utiliza un modelo de corte transversal. Los resultados sugieren que el ser hombre, la educación superior, contar con seguro social, la inversión y las utilidades elevan el salario de reserva. por otro lado, variables como la antigüedad del negocio, el número de personas contratadas y la competencia, disminuyen el salario de reserva.
